Prof. Martin Zuschin
Martin is the PI of the project and professor of Palaeontology at the University of Vienna with the main reserach focus on conservation palaeobiology and historical ecology using the fossil record. His main interest ist in ecosystem stability and the impact of climate change on biodiversity over ecological and geological time scales.

Isabella Leonhard, M.Sc.
Isabella is the PhD student who developed the project toegther with Martin Zuschin. She is a member of the Vienna Doctoral School of Ecology and Evolution and funded by the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW). Her expertise is in the field of sclerochronology and sclerochemistry of fish otoliths.
